2. Implemented Accessibility Features

To ensure compatibility with assistive technologies, we have implemented the following design patterns:

• Skip-to-Content: A keyboard-accessible skip link allows screen readers and keyboard-only users to bypass navigation menus and go straight to the converter tools.
• Keyboard Navigation: Every interactive component (including the bitrate slider, mono/stereo toggles, file input dropzone, advanced settings, and FAQ accordions) can be focused and manipulated using standard keys (Tab, Enter, Space, Arrows).
• Semantic HTML5 Elements: We use semantic headers (`h1`, `h2`, `h3`), navigation controls (`nav`, `ul`), and landmarks to ensure pages are easy to navigate for screen readers.
• Aria Attributes: We use descriptors (e.g. `aria-expanded`, `aria-controls`, `aria-live`, `aria-checked`) to announce dynamic browser changes (such as file conversion stages, menu opens, and calculator computations) to screen readers.
• Contrast and Typography: Both light and dark modes are checked to ensure color contrast ratios exceed 4.5:1 for standard text, meeting readability requirements.
